This is an example page It is different to a blog message because it stays in one spot and apears in your navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that presents them to potential site visitors. It could say something like this:

Hi there! I am a bikecourier in normal live and an aspiring actor at night, and this is my site. I live in Los Angeles, have a nice dog called Jach and I like piña coladas. (And being caught in the rain.)

…or something like this:

De XYZ Doohickey Company is opgericht in 1971 en heeft sindsdien kwalitatieve doohickeys aan het publiek geleverd. Gevestigd in Gotham City, heeft XYZ meer dan 2000 mensen in dienst en doet allerlei fantastische dingen voor de community in Gotham.
