The PBQ G40-12 Gel-Lead battery is a cyclic battery specifically designed to withstand harsh conditions. When it comes to shocks, the Cellpower GEL battery is the ideal choice.
The battery is of the VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) type.
A common misconception is that people often talk about lead-acid batteries or GEL batteries, but a GEL battery IS a lead-acid battery. The main difference between a "normal" lead-acid battery and a GEL battery is that the "fluid" between the lead plates in a GEL battery has a much higher viscosity, making it more of a GEL than a liquid. This means the plates remain more stable during shocks and are less likely to make contact.
