Featuring a plug-and-play design to be installed in harsh industrial demanding environments, PLANET IGS-1020PTF is an industrial-grade, DIN-rail type unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ switch with eight 10/100/1000BASE-T ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and two 100/1000BASE-X fiber optic interfaces for uplink connection.

The IGS-1020PTF is designed with a redundant power supply and is capable of reliable, stable, and silent operation in any harsh environment without compromising its performance. It has a total power budget of up to 240 watts for various PoE applications and an operating temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees Celsius in a rugged IP30 metal enclosure.
Dual power input for high availability of the network system
The IGS-1020PTF features a robust dual power input system with a wide voltage range (48-56V DC) integrated into the customer's automation network to improve system reliability and uptime. If power supply 1 fails, the hardware failover function is automatically activated to supply the IGS-1020PTF with power supply 2, preventing any loss of operation.

802.3at PoE+ Power and Ethernet Data Transmission Expansion
The IGS-1020PTF has a built-in DIP switch that offers "Standard" and "Expand" operating modes. In "Standard" mode, the IGS-1020PTF operates as a standard IEEE 802.3at PoE+ switch. In "Expand" mode, the IGS-1020PTF operates at 10Mbps full duplex per port and supports a PoE power output of 20-25 watts at a distance of up to 250 meters, exceeding the 100-meter limitation of Ethernet UTP cables.


Fiber Optic Link Capability for Flexible Distance Extension
The two additional mini-GBIC slots built into the IGS-1020PTF support SFP auto-sensing and dual speed, offering 100BASE-FX and 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP (small form-factor pluggable) fiber optic modules. This allows administrators to flexibly select the appropriate SFP transceiver based on the required transmission distance or transmission speed to efficiently expand the network. Distances can be extended from 550 meters to 2 kilometers (multi-mode fiber) and 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/120 kilometers (single-mode fiber or WDM fiber). They are suitable for uplink to backbone switches and long-distance monitoring center applications.

Environmentally resistant design
With its IP30 metal industrial enclosure, the IGS-1020PTF offers a high level of immunity to electromagnetic interference and large electrical surges often found on factory floors or curbside traffic control systems without air conditioning. Its ventilated design eliminates the need for a cooling fan, ensuring silent operation. Capable of operating within a temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees Celsius, the IGS-1020PTF can be installed in almost any challenging environment.
Robust Protection
The IGS-1020PTF offers ±6KV DC contact discharge and ±6KV DC air discharge for ESD protection of Ethernet. It also supports ±6KV surge immunity to enhance product stability and protect users' networks from devastating ESD attacks, ensuring stable operating currents.
Intelligent LED Indicator for Real-time PoE Consumption
The IGS-1020PTF helps users easily and efficiently monitor the current PoE power usage status through its advanced LED indication. Labeled "PoE Power Usage," the front panel of this industrial Gigabit PoE+ switch features four amber LEDs that indicate 60W, 120W, 180W, and 240W of PoE power usage.

Flexible and Easy Installation with Limited Space
The IGS-1020PTF is designed for installation in various environments, such as a wall-mounted enclosure. It can be installed using fixed wall mounting, DIN rail mounting, or side-wall mounting, making it more flexible and convenient to use in any confined space.
