The ELA-100 Ethernet Lightning Arrest Box provides two passive 10/100/1000Base-T interfaces for connecting two Ethernet systems and a ground connection. The ELA-100 Ethernet Lightning Arrest Box is the ideal solution for preventing damage to Ethernet systems from voltage spikes caused by lightning strikes.

Outdoor Installation of Ethernet Lightning Arrest Box
When the ELA-100 is installed outdoors in an enclosure, the Ethernet Lightning Arrest Box must be grounded. Otherwise, the Ethernet Lightning Arrest Box may receive an electric shock and be damaged. Afterward, connect two Ethernet systems to the two passive 10/100/1000Base-T ports (a protected port and an unprotected port) of the Ethernet Lightning Arrest Box to prevent lightning strikes.
