The PLANET ISW-801T, a Industrial 8-port Fast Ethernet Switch, provides non-blocking wire-speed performance in a tough industrial environment. It also delivers 8-port 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 copper interfaces are housed in a robust IP30 housing with a redundant power supply. The slim design is suitable for applications such as security systems, control management, and wireless service in climatically demanding environments with a wide temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees C.

The ISW-801T provides a high degree of immunity to electromagnetic interference and the severe electrical spikes and dips commonly found on factory floors or in roadside traffic control cabinets. Because it can operate within a temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees C, the ISW-801T can be used in almost any challenging environment. The ISW-801T also features an integrated wide-range power supply (12 to 48 V DC, 24 V AC) for global high-availability applications requiring dual or backup power inputs.

Robust Switch Performance
Built into a high-performance switch architecture, the ISW-801T features eight 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports that provide non-blocking switch fabric and wire-speed throughput of up to 1.6Gbps, as well as a 1K MAC address. This allows the ISW-801T to transmit wire-speed packets without the risk of packet loss. The flow control function allows the ISW-801T to switch data quickly and reliably.

All RJ45 copper interfaces in the ISW-801T support 10/100Mbps auto negotiation for optimal speed detection through RJ45 Category 5 or 5e cables. Standard auto-MDI/MDI-X support can detect the connection type of any Ethernet device without requiring a straight-through or crossover cable.
