The line-interactive UPS is the most sold UPS system. The system is compact and pricing is lower than the Double Conversion VFI UPS. The UPS is frequency dependent and it has a switch-over time of approx. 5-10ms. For most applications that is not a problem.
Most of the time these units have internal batteries.
