The Cellpower CPXC45-12HE Lead-Carbon battery is the latest addition to the Intercel / Cellpower product range.
The battery is a 45Ah 12Volt block in the Lead Carbon version.

The advantages of Lead-carbon:
The Lead-Carbon battery is exactly what the name suggests: it's a VRLA (valve-regulated lead acid) battery with added carbon. The battery is still an AGM battery with a much longer lifespan. In short, nothing but advantages. The negative plates of this battery are made of lead and carbon.
This improves the penetration of the acid into the plates and also the distribution of this acid.
This gives us the following benefits:

Fast charging
Lower internal resistance
Greater capacity
Less chance of sulphation.

The Cellpower CPXC45-12HE Lead-Carbon battery has a number of interesting advantages over more traditional batteries, namely:
