Electric batteries are becoming increasingly popular in water sports and fishing, so it's crucial that the battery is robust enough for these applications. That's why we've specially developed the MegaUMPF for fishing and water sports. These batteries are extremely robust and finished with sturdy rubber edges. The edges provide a good grip, and the handle ensures easy handling. To monitor the battery's charge, we've added a charge indicator on top so you can check its status at all times. To top it all off, the battery terminals are recessed M5 insert terminals. To ensure smooth and controlled charging and discharging, the battery incorporates a BMS (Battery Management System) that ensures the cells are charged and discharged evenly. The BMS also protects against overcharging, deep discharge, excessive temperatures, and excessive currents. The BMS operates fully automatically. When a threshold value is exceeded, the battery shuts down; it recovers automatically when disconnected from the consumer. Because the BMS charges and discharges via the same MOSFETs, a separate charging connector is no longer required. This also increases the potential charging current. The efficient PCB design ensures low energy consumption. Consequently, the battery's self-discharge rate is very low, and it takes several years to fully discharge. Therefore, storing the battery for extended periods is no problem.
