In addition to these Power Over Ethernet developments that send data and PoE over UTP cables up to 100 meters, Planet Networking & Communication has now also developed a complete range of LRP - Long Reach POE.
This range of products allows you to transmit power and data over distances far longer than 100 meters using a standard UTP cable or even a coaxial cable. The latter is particularly interesting, as many companies still use analog cameras connected via a coaxial cable.
With the new LRP solutions, cables can remain in place and the analog camera can still be replaced with an IP camera.

The Industrial solutions are characterized by several features. The units have a robust housing, often equipped with fins to provide natural cooling for the components, and the housing is more resistant to damage from more industrial use.
The units are more resistant to both much higher and much lower temperatures. Depending on the model, temperatures can range from -40 to +75 degrees Celsius.
Depending on the version, the units can even withstand immersion in water and then even function underwater - EN50155.
Many of the systems are powered by a DC voltage and many systems can also be powered twice - redundantly - for even higher availability.
The mounting method varies from Din-Rail, Wall mount, Magnet mounting, rack mounting and of course desk-top mounting.
