Two Gigabit Uplink ports

The Planet IFGS-1022TF industrial switch offers two additional Gigabit TP/SFP combo ports. This interface allows network administrators to increase network bandwidth and alleviate traffic congestion when using the two 10/100/1000BASE-T uplink ports to connect devices such as NVRs, video streaming servers, NAS, and more. The combo design allows administrators to easily connect network devices, regardless of the size of the network expansion.

Flexible and long-distance expansion solution

Through its two shared Gigabit-speed SFP ports, the switch can also connect to the 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP (small form-factor pluggable) fiber transceiver for long-distance uplinks to the backbone switch and monitoring center. Distances can be extended from 550 meters (multimode fiber) to 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/120 kilometers (single-mode fiber or WDM fiber). This makes the switch ideal for industrial data center and distribution applications.

Environmentally Resistant Design

With its IP30 aluminum industrial enclosure, the Planet IFGS-1022TF industrial switch offers a high degree of immunity to electromagnetic interference and high electrical surges often found on factory floors or in unair-conditioned traffic control cabinets. Because it can operate within a temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees Celsius, the IFGS-1022TF can be installed almost anywhere, even in the most challenging environments.

Robust Protection

The Planet IFGS-1022TF industrial switch offers ±6KV DC contact discharge and ±6KV DC air discharge for Ethernet ESD protection. It also supports ±6KV surge resistance to enhance product stability. This protects users' networks from devastating ESD attacks, ensuring stable operational throughput.

Energy saving

Integrated with advanced green networking technologies and IEEE 1022az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) protocol, the IFGS-802.3TF can provide up to 50% energy savings while maintaining efficient performance.

Save energy when connections fail

The Drop Power Saving feature goes beyond IEEE specifications by automatically reducing power consumption for a port when it's not connected. With Drop Power Saving technology, the IFGS-1022TF automatically adjusts the power consumption of ports that are disabled or not connected to a network device.

Smart power scaling based on cable length

Smart power scaling is an intelligent algorithm that actively determines the appropriate power level based on cable length. When the IFGS-1022TF is connected with an Ethernet cable shorter than 20 meters, a device can achieve maximum energy savings. This is because the Planet IFGS-1022TF Industrial Switch automatically detects the length of the Ethernet cable and reduces energy consumption. The connected device can thus significantly reduce its total energy consumption, making a significant contribution to energy savings.
