The LRP-101U-KIT, a PLANET Long Reach PoE solution, is a Single-Port PoE over UTP Extender Kit which provides long-range data and power transmission over distances of up to 500m (1,640ft.) over UTP cable, and another 100m over Ethernet cable to a remote PoE IP camera, PoE wireless AP or access control system compatible with 802.3af/at PoEThe LRP-101U-KIT provides a point to point application for simple plug-n-play operation and deployment in climatically demanding environments with a wide temperature range of -20 to 70 degrees CWithout the hassle of a power source, installing a remote PoE-powered system becomes simple and more efficient.

Composition of the Long Reach PoE over UTP Extender Kit
The LRP-101U-KIT consists of a Long Reach PoE injector and a Long Reach PoE extender A set that can function as a pair anywhere in your network infrastructure. It consists of two brand-new products: 
■ LRP-101UH: 1-Port 10/100TX PoE PD + 1-Port UTP Long Reach PoE Injector
■ LRP-101UE: 1-Port 10/100TX PoE PSE + 1-Port UTP Long Reach PoE Extender

The LRP-101UH sends data and power over UTP cable to the LRP-101UE, which can be located up to 500 meters away. It then delivers the data and power output with a maximum of 25 watts to a PoE PD over the Ethernet cable, enabling long-distance deployments such as IP surveillance networks or wireless LAN infrastructure. Both units are housed in robust metal housings. The wall-mountable design fits easily into any tight space.

IP Ethernet and Power over Long UTP or Twisted-pair Cable
A normal UTP cable can be extended up to 100 meters, but the LRP-101U-KIT can extend a PoE network up to 500 metres carry on a long 4-pair UTP cable or up to 300 metres about an existing 1 pair Twisted-pair cable, like a telephone cable, ensures stable, high-quality video transmission. This eliminates the need for on-site power, while a single power source can power both the LRP extenders and the PoE IP camera at a distance.

Stable Operating Performance under Difficult Conditions

The kit can operate reliably within a temperature range of -20 to 70 degrees C to enable users to easily apply the kit in virtually any location.

Plug-n-play Installation
With its plug-and-play functionality, the PLANET Long Reach PoE Extender Kit can be used immediately without any configuration. The kit also supports various IP network protocols. Furthermore, diagnostic LEDs on the front panel display the operating status of individual ports and the entire system, allowing administrators to efficiently manage the network.
