The Planet GSW-2401 offers 24 RJ-45 10/100/1000Mbps ports for high-speed network connectivity. The switch automatically detects and identifies the appropriate transmission speed and half/full duplex mode for the connected 24 Gigabit ports.

High Performance
The GSW-2401 offers a high-performance switch architecture capable of non-blocking switching and wire-speed throughput of up to 32Gbps, greatly simplifying the task of upgrading your LAN to accommodate growing bandwidth requirements. Furthermore, the GSW-2401's Flow Control function allows routers and servers to connect directly to the switch for fast and reliable data transfer.

All RJ-45 copper interfaces of the GSW-2401 support 10/100/1000Mbps auto-negotiation for optimal speed detection through RJ-45 Category 6, 5, or 5e cables. The unit also supports auto-MDI/MDI-X standards, which can detect the connection type of each Ethernet device without requiring a special straight or crossover cable.

Excellent Traffic Transmission
The GSW-2401 supports Store-and-Forward forwarding schemes to ensure low latency and high data integrity, eliminating unnecessary traffic and relieving congestion on critical network paths. With an intelligent address recognition algorithm, the GSW-2401 can recognize up to 8K different MAC addresses. Its high data throughput and 32Gb internal switching fabric make it ideal for most Gigabit environments, especially when upgrading to a Gigabit network.
