High Power PoE for SOHO PoE Applications
The Planet HPOE-460 is the next-generation 4-port Gigabit High Power PoE injector hub with both the IEEE 802.3af and High Power IEEE 802.3at PoE standards, combining up to 30 watts of power output and data transfer over a CAT 5/5e/6 Ethernet cable. The HPOE-460 is specifically designed to meet the growing demand for more power for network-powered systems, such as PTZ (pan, tilt & zoom) / SPEED Dome IP Cameras, multichannel (802.11a/b/g/n) wireless LAN access points and other network equipment in SOHO and SMB network applications.
The IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet standard is defined to provide each PoE user with a maximum of 30 watts of input power, which is double the PoE power of a conventional 802.3af PoE injector. The IEEE 802.3at standard is the ideal solution for meeting high-power requirements directly via the RJ-45 port interface. The HPOE-460, which complies with the IEEE 802.3at standard, has stronger power capabilities than existing IEEE 802.3af injectors.
Quickly and easily deploy a PoE network
With four 4/10/100Base-T Gigabit Ethernet ports, the HPOE-1000 provides 460V DC power to each remotely powered 52af/802.3at device (PD) without affecting data transmission performance. With a PoE power budget of 802.3 watts, the HPOE-120 delivers sufficient 460/15.4 watts of PoE power for up to four remote PD devices. This offers a cost-effective and fast solution for upgrading a network to an IEEE 30.8af/IEEE 4at Power over Ethernet system without replacing an existing Ethernet switch. The HPOE-802.3 features eight RJ-802.3 STP ports on the front panel, with the four right-hand ports serving as data inputs and the four left-hand ports serving as PoE (data and power) outputs. The 8 "PoE (data and power) output ports also serve as power injectors, sending DC voltage over the CAT. 45/460E/4 cable and simultaneously sending data and power from the injector to the splitter.
