The PLANET WGS-804HP is designed to be installed in a wall-mounted enclosure or easily mounted on a wall in any convenient location. It is an innovative, Wall-mounted industrial 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with 4-port 802.3af/802.3at Power over Ethernet. It is housed in a compact yet robust IP30 metal enclosure. With a total PoE budget of 120 watts, ultra-fast network speed and an operating temperature of -10 to 60 degrees Celsius, the WGS-804HP is an ideal solution to meet the demand for sufficient PoE power for the following network applications.

Centralized power distribution for small Ethernet networks
The WGS-804HP provides four PoE ports that support up to 120 watts Combine power output budgets to meet small-scale PoE network applications. Compliant with both IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standards, each PoE port provides up to 30 watts of power output and Gigabit-speed data transfer, both delivered over a single Cat. 5e/6 Ethernet cable, powering remotely powered PoE PDs up to 100 meters away.

Intelligent LED indicator for real-time PoE usage
To facilitate automatic power management, the WGS-804HP implements the "Power Budget Control" function, which helps prevent the power budget from being overloaded. Furthermore, the WGS-804HP helps users easily and efficiently monitor the current PoE power usage status via its advanced LED indication. The front panel of the WGS-804HP, labeled "PoE Power Usage," has four LEDs that indicate power usage and 120W of power consumption.
