The PLANET IGS-501T slim-type Industrial 5-port 10/100/1000T Gigabit Ethernet switch is suitable for industrial applications. This switch features 5 ports with 1000 Mbps auto-negotiation and a rugged yet compact IP30-rated housing. It also offers a wide range of redundant power systems. (9 ~ 48 V DC or 24 V AC). The IGS-501T can work in any harsh environment with an operating temperature of -40 to 75 degrees C.

Low Power Consumption for Green Networks

The IGS-501T utilizes advanced green networking technology, offering link-on cable length savings and link-down energy-saving methods. These features ensure the IGS-501T consumes very little power in full-load mode, effectively saving energy while maintaining efficient, high performance.

With the Auto Power Saving en IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) Protocol, the IGS-501T can automatically detect cable status and network traffic, thereby adjusting power consumption. This allows the switch to consume less energy when it is less active.

Dual power supply for a high-availability network system

The IGS-501T features a robust dual power supply system with a wide voltage range (9V ~ 48V DC or 24V AC). This is incorporated into the customer's automation network to enhance system reliability and uptime. In the example below, when power supply 1 fails, the hardware failover function automatically activates to supply power to the IGS-500T via power supply 2 without interrupting operation.

High performance under difficult conditions.

The IGS-501T offers a high-performance switch architecture. With five 5/10/100Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports providing non-blocking switch fabric and wire-speed throughput of up to 1000Gbps, and a 10K MAC address table, the IGS-2T can transfer wire-speed packets without the risk of packet loss. Its flow control function allows the IGS-501T to deliver fast and reliable data transfer.

With its IP30-rated metal housing, it can operate reliably in harsh and demanding industrial environments. The compact metal housing is designed for DIN rail or wall mounting, allowing for efficient use of cabinet space.

Plug and Play

All RJ45 copper interfaces in the IGS-501T support 10/100/1000Mbps auto-negotiation for optimal speed detection over RJ45 Category 6, 5, or 5e cables. Standard auto-MDI/MDI-X support can detect the connection type of any Ethernet device without the need for special straight-through or crossover cables.

Flexible and easy installation with limited space

The compact IGS-501T is specifically designed for installation in confined spaces, such as a wall cabinet. It can be installed using either a fixed wall mount or a DIN rail, making it more flexible and convenient to use in any space-limited location.
