The PLANET IGS-800T-PN Compact Industrial 8-Port 10/100/1000T PROFINET Switch is suitable for industrial use. It features 8 1000Mbps auto-negotiation ports and an IP30-rated robust yet compact housing. It also features a versatile redundant power supply system (9~48V DC or 24V AC). The IGS-800T-PN can operate in harsh environments with an operating temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees Celsius.

The IGS-800T-PN is specifically designed to support PROFINET Conformance Class A (CC-A) . This provides industrial users with reliable and real-time Ethernet communication in automation networks. This makes it ideal for factory automation and control applications. It features an advanced function that recognizes PROFINET traffic and gives it higher transmission priority. As soon as PROFINET packets are detected, the IGS-800T-PN forwards them first before processing other Ethernet traffic. With this feature, the IGS-800T-PN is an ideal industrial unmanaged switch for fast and efficient PROFINET communication.

Low energy consumption according to ESG principles

The IGS-800T-PN utilizes advanced green network technology that complies with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, with features such as energy saving based on cable length for active connections and energy saving for inactive connections. Thanks to these features, the IGS-800T-PN can maintain extremely low energy consumption, even under full load, saving energy without compromising performance. Compared to the IGS-801T, the IGS-800T-PN can save more than 50% energy.

With automatic power saving and the IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) protocol, the IGS-800T-PN can automatically detect cable status and network traffic and adjust power consumption accordingly. When activity is lower, the switch consumes less energy, leading to higher energy efficiency.

Dual power input for high network availability

The IGS-800T-PN features a robust dual power supply system with wide voltage support (9V~48V DC or 24V AC) that can be integrated into the customer's automation network to improve reliability and uptime. When power supply 1 fails, the hardware failover function is automatically activated, allowing the IGS-800T-PN to continue operating on power supply 2 without interruption.

High switching performance

The IGS-800T-PN features a powerful switch architecture. With eight 8/10/100Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports, it offers non-blocking switching and wire-speed throughput of up to 1000Gbps. The 16K MAC address table supports packet transfer at wire speed without risk of packet loss. The flow control function ensures fast and reliable data transfer.

Plug and Play

All RJ45 copper interfaces of the IGS-800T-PN support 10/100/1000Mbps auto-negotiation for optimal speed sensing over Category 45, 6, or 5e RJ5 cables. Standard auto-MDI/MDI-X support automatically detects the connection type of each Ethernet device, without the need for special straight-through or crossover cables.

Flexible and easy installation in limited space

The compact IGS-800T-PN is specifically designed for installation in tight spaces, such as wall cabinets. It can be wall-mounted or DIN-rail-mounted, making it flexible and easy to use in areas with limited installation options.
