The ISW-1600T is equipped with an integrated power supply with a wide range of connecting voltages (12 to 48V DC or 24V ACThis makes it suitable for use in global high-availability applications that require a dual or backup power supply. The ISW-1600T operates in a wide temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees C. This allows it to be installed in almost any challenging environment. The ISW-1600T also offers DIN rail or wall mounting for efficient use of cabinet space.

The ISW-1600T provides ±6KV DC contact discharge and ±6KV DC air discharge for Ethernet ESD protection. It also supports ±6KV surge immunity to enhance product stability and protect the user's network from devastating ESD attacks, ensuring consistent flow of operation.

Planet ISW-1600T industrial switch, has implemented advanced "green networking" technologies and also based on the IEEE 802.3az protocol, is able to provide power savings of up to 50% but maintain high performance efficiently.

When the Planet ISW-1600T industrial switch is connected with Ethernet cable shorter than 20m, a device can obtain maximum power saving. This because the ISW-1600T would automatically detect the Ethernet cable length and diminish power usage. The connected device can substantially reduce the overall power consumption, which makes a significant contribution to energy saving.
