PLANET Long Reach PoE Solutions are designed to extend IP Ethernet transmission and simultaneously inject power into a remote 802.3af/at PoE compliant powered device (PD) beyond the 100 meter limit of the Ethernet.

Perfect 1-to-4 PoE over Coax/UTP Extender for Heavy-Duty Conditions
The LRP-104CET, a PLANET Long Reach PoE solution, is an industrial Single-Port Long Reach PoE to 4-Port 802.3af/at PoE Extender Designed in a strong, robust IP30 housing, it offers long-distance data and power transmission over any existing coax, UTP, twisted-pair cable or wires Over distances of up to 1,000 meters, it converts power to standard 802.3af/at PoE over an additional 100-meter Ethernet cable, connecting up to four remote PDs simultaneously. The LRP-104CET provides single-to-multiple applications for setup-free operation and can be deployed in demanding climatic environments with a wide temperature range of -20 to 70 degrees C. It simplifies and streamlines the installation of remotely powered PoE devices.

IP Ethernet and Power over Long Distance
The LRP-104CET provides a Long Reach PoE solution for adding PoE ports without running more cabling, creating a more flexible network application without the need for an external power adapter.

A normal UTP cable can only be used up to 100 meters, but with the LRP-104CET, the distance of PoE networks can be extended to 1,000 meters (3,280ft.) when used in conjunction with a PLANET LRP injector or LRP switch over a 75 ohm coaxial cable or up to 500 metres (1,640ft.) over a twisted-pair UTP cable, without affecting video transmission quality. This eliminates the need for an additional electrical outlet, as the single power supply can power a PoE PD over long distances via the LRP-104CET.

Two Types of Power Input: Remote LRP Power by BNC/RJ45 and Local Power
In Long Reach PoE mode, the LRP-104CET PoE budget depends on the output power of the Long Reach Poe Injector or Long Reach Switch, but with an external DC power input, it is possible to increase the PoE budget to 120W. This means that the four IEEE 802.3at PDs (powered devices) can be powered by the LRP-104CET. The unit also offers a robust dual power input system (Dual 24V ~ 48V DC) integrated into the automation network to improve system reliability and uptime.

Installation without Configuring
The LRP-104CET can be used immediately without configuration and is compatible with various IP network protocols. Comprehensive diagnostic LEDs and PoE power consumption LEDs on the front panel display the status of individual ports and the entire system. A DIP switch can control the PoE output of each port by toggling it ON or OFF, allowing administrators to efficiently manage the network.
