Advanced 802.3bt Ultra PoE Network Solution
The PLANET POE-171A-60 is a Single-Port, 802.3bt Power over Ethernet Injector with a maximum power output of 60 watts over Ethernet cabling.

The unit is specifically designed to meet the growing demand for more power for network equipment such as:
– PTZ speed dome
– PhD candidate (All-in-One) touch PC
- Remote digital signage
– Other network equipment that requires more power to function

The POE-171A-60 delivers Ethernet digital data at 54V DC over twisted-pair cables as a 60-watt Power over Ethernet Injector. The optionally connected ultra Power over Ethernet splitter, the POE-172S, splits the digital data and power. The power can then be selected from three optional outputs. (12V/19V/24V DC). The PoE can be carried over a distance of 100 meters.
Intelligent LED Indicator for PoE Mode and Real-time PoE Consumption
When the POE-171A-60 is switched to legacy mode, it supplies power to PD devices that are not fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standard. The legacy LED lights up when legacy mode is enabled. In addition, the POE-171A-60 helps users monitor the current status of PoE usage through its advanced LED indicators. The "PoE Power Usage" indicator on the front panel has three LEDs that indicate different power consumption levels. These LEDs allow the administrator to monitor the usage status in real time.

60 watts of Power over 4-pair UTP
The POE-171A-60 and POE-172S Ultra PoE solutions utilize the same IEEE 802.3af/at PoE cable standard. Instead of delivering power over 2-pair twisted UTP—either end-span (pins 1, 2, 3, and 6) or mid-span (pins 4, 5, 7, and 8)—the unit can deliver up to 60 watts of power using all 4 pairs of standard Cat. 5e/Cat. 6 Ethernet cabling. In the new 4-pair system, two PSE controllers are used to power both the data pairs and the spare pairs.

All-in-one and Compact Housing
The POE injector is easy to install with plug and play, and comes with simple troubleshooting, making it easy for businesses and end-users to implement this solution. Furthermore, the POE-171A-60 is housed in a compact housing and features a 52~56V DC input power jacket, one power LED, a PoE-in-use LED, and a legacy LED. Two RJ45 ports—an Ethernet port and an Ethernet + DC port—are located on the side panel. Simply connect the Ethernet cable and the power cord, and the POE-171A-60 is ready to provide high-speed network communication and 802.3bt PoE injector functionality simultaneously without the need for software configuration.
Quick and Easy Cable Installation for a PoE Network Rollout
Because the injector is backward compatible with the 802.3af/at PoE standards, the POE-171A-60 allows users to flexibly deploy standard and high-power equipment to simultaneously transmit data and power over a single data cable, extending up to 100 meters. The POE-171A-60 frees security IP cameras and wireless APs from the constraints of electrical outlet locations and additional wiring. This reduces cabling and eliminates the need for electrical outlets.
