De Planet IGS-10020HPT industriële switch is een 8-poorts Gigabit 802.3at PoE+ switch en is uitgerust met een robuuste IP30 metalen behuizing voor stabiele werking in zware industriële omgevingen. Hierdoor biedt de IGS-10020HPT-serie een hoog niveau van immuniteit tegen elektromagnetische interferentie. De IGS-10020HPT serie ondersteunt redundante ringtechnologie en heeft een sterke, snelle zelfherstelcapaciteit om onderbrekingen en externe inbraak te voorkomen. Het maakt gebruik van geavanceerde ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technologie, evenals het Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP) en een redundant voedingssysteem. Dit wordt geïntegreerd in het industriële automatiseringsnetwerk van de klant om de betrouwbaarheid en uptime van het systeem te verbeteren in veeleisende fabrieksomgevingen.
De IGS-10020HPT serie beschermt ook de industriële netwerkconnectiviteit van de klant.
