De Planet IGS-10020HPT industriële switch is een 8-poorts Gigabit 802.3at PoE+ switch en is uitgerust met een robuuste IP30 metalen behuizing voor stabiele werking in zware industriële omgevingen. Hierdoor biedt de IGS-10020HPT-serie een hoog niveau van immuniteit tegen elektromagnetische interferentie. Ook zijn ze bestand tegen zware elektrische pieken die doorgaans voorkomen op fabrieksvloeren of in kasten voor verkeersregeling aan de straatkant.

Door het brede temperatuurbereik van -40 tot 75 graden Celsius, kunnen de switches uit de IGS-10020HPT serie in vrijwel elke uitdagende omgeving worden geplaatst. Bovendien biedt de IGS-10020HPT serie de mogelijkheid voor zowel DIN-railmontage als wandmontage. Deze montage optie zorgt voor een efficiënt gebruik van de kastruimte.

Redundante ring, snel herstel voor kritieke netwerktoepassingen.

De IGS-10020HPT serie ondersteunt redundante ringtechnologie en heeft een sterke, snelle zelfherstelcapaciteit om onderbrekingen en externe inbraak te voorkomen. Het maakt gebruik van geavanceerde ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technologie, evenals het Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP) en een redundant voedingssysteem. Dit wordt geïntegreerd in het industriële automatiseringsnetwerk van de klant om de betrouwbaarheid en uptime van het systeem te verbeteren in veeleisende fabrieksomgevingen.

De IGS-10020HPT serie beschermt ook de industriële netwerkconnectiviteit van de klant. Dit gebeurt met behulp van de switching recovery capaciteit die wordt gebruikt voor het implementeren van fouttolerante ring- en mesh-netwerkarchitecturen. Als het industriële netwerk per ongeluk wordt onderbroken, kunnen de hersteltijden bij een storing minder dan 50 ms zijn om het netwerk snel weer terug te brengen naar normale werking.

Hiermee wordt voldaan aan de behoeften van surveillancesystemen, videotransmissies en draadloze diensten in bussen, shuttles en andere voertuigen voor stroom- en gegevensoverdracht.
