PoE Solution to Overcome the RJ45 100m Limit
The PLANET POE-E202 is a 1-port PoE+ to 2-port 802.3af/at Gigabit PoE Extender specifically designed for point-to-multipoint PoE applications. The POE-E202 can utilize a maximum of 30-watt PoE power from the PoE+ input port and thus allocate a maximum of 25-watt PoE power budget to two PoE output ports, extending both beyond the Gigabit Ethernet Data en IEEE 802.3at/802.3af Power over Ethernet standard 100m (328 ft.) Cat. 5/5e/6 UTP cable to two 200m powered systems simultaneously.
The POE-E202 offers a simple solution for adding PoE ports without the need for more cabling, delivering more flexible network applications without the need for external power adapters.
Plug and Play Installation
The POE-E202 is very easy to install with simple plug and play. It is placed between a PoE power supply system (PSE) and a powered system (PD). The POE-E202 injects power to the PD without affecting data transmission performance. The POE-E202 offers a cost-effective and fast solution for doubling the standard PoE range from 100 to 200 meters. The POE-E202 is designed in a compact housing with three RJ45 ports, one of which is "PoE IN" port functions as PoE (Data and Power) input and the other two “PoE OUT” ports function as PoE output. The “PoE OUT” port is also the power injector that sends the DC voltage over the Cat5/5e/6 cable and sends the data and power simultaneously between PSE and PD.

A Power Source for Multiple Nourished Solutions
Is 100 meters of cable long enough for an IP surveillance application across a larger area? The answer is absolutely not! To maximize the benefits of IP surveillance and IP camera distribution over long distances, the PLANET POE-E202 is ideal as a Gigabit PoE extender when users have already established most of their network but still want to extend network communications and overcome the limitations of cabling distances to devices in locations that cannot be reached with a traditional network.
